The NFL is getting Silly

The NFL and it's silly rules have hit another all time low. I understand the rules that keep players safe. Don't hit a defenseless receiver below the knee, Don't hit the Quarter Back in the head. Totally get that, but, now a 15 yard penalty for using the "N" word! What is the penalty for the "F" bomb? Or, the other "F" Word? The game is

I wonder what the penalty will be for using other racial/ethnic/cultural slurs? 5 yards for "Cracker"? 10 yards for "Spic"?

Exactly. The media is really running with this now. This is not helping race relations.

I think the NFL is being discriminatory toward blacks...because which players on the field are calling each other the dreaded "N Word"? I think it's safe to say not a lot of white players using that word or calling black players that word. It would be a penalty that only affects black players. Do people think that it's Whitey throwing around that word on the field and think this proposed rule will end racism?

I'd love to hear the penalty call because you can't just have the ref say "15 Yard Penalty" and walk away. He has to explain the call. "#79 Defense for saying Nigger. 15 yard penalty. Still 3rd down."

And what aboot other racial slurs for blacks? Are those penalty worthy? Are "Jungle Bunny" or "Porch Monkey" not as high on the offensive scale? Very odd this penalty.
