Does anyone with a manual transmission vehicle want to take me out and help me learn to drive it? I have had a few lessons on Amber's car, but need more practice on other cars, methinks. I'll happily buy dinner or drinks (after driving, of course ( Read more... )

Sure. I volunteer my auto--a '93 Honda Accord. I've taught plenty of people. Be warned, though--I have no AC in my car, so if you get nervous and start to sweat, it'll be an instant sauna ;-)
Are you still driving around parking lots or have you graduated to surface roads?

Still parking lots, until I can consistently get into second gear without stalling. We've been using the Carter Baron parking lot, given that it is large enough to get up to speed.
