So the U2 concert was ammaaazing. But I knew it would be, its U2 after all. I went with my sister, it was so much fun, she had never seen them in concert before and I only had once before and we went crazy the whole time they were performing. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the Dany and Meereen plot either. And like you said, it didn't really advance much. Actually that can be said for a lot of the plots in this book. Most of the characters were pretty much in holding patterns as GRRM moved some of the pieces across the chess board.

Plus chaining up her dragons like that was not a good idea, how could she ever get them to behave or train them or whatever if she never even sees them?
LOL RIGHT? LIKE, WHEN SHE REALIZED HER DRAGONS WERE BECOMING WILD SHE SHOULD HAVE SPENT HER FREE TIME TRAINING THEM NOT HUMPING DAARIO.

For serious. Dany made so many questionable decisions in ADWD and she's created a huge mess for herself in Meereen and she's bogged down trying to deal with that and it feels like she doesn't care about Westeros at all anymore. Meh.

I don't quite understand why Tyrion referred to Aegon listening to him and taking the Golden Company to Westeros instead of Meereen as a trap or trick or whatever ( ... )

It's a strange feeling for me lol because I don't want Dany to just show up and take over and rule Westeros but I also don't want to hear all about her ruling on meereen either. It's like what would I dislike less? Really I think now I am imagining her as some unifying force for Westeros and everyone joins together to fight her invasion. But you know there will always be someone who will take the chance and ally with her... if she ever shows up.

Yeah I thought the same like maybe he thinks it will make the invasion easier for Dany but I don't know why he is choosing Dany over aegon. He doesn't even know Dany.

I think the horn that Victarion has is real, but he will have to undergo some serious transformation to be able to use it ( will he turn into another not-quite human? I have not got to that point properly yet, but isn't there something about "claim the horn with blood"? Very interesting.

I am probably the only one who is not impressed by Aegon's re-apperance. Children killed, but not killed, hidden and re-appearing is a bit of an old trick. I hope he is an imposter, something connected with "A cloth dragon swayed on poles amidst a cheering crowd" prophesy.

Yeah there is something like that with the horn. Maybe the red priest will be able to help with that too.

I don't know whether I think its an impostor or not but just the idea of him coming to Westeros is really exciting to me. It really changes things for Dany at least because now she is not the only Targ and Aegon would have a better claim to the throne.

Yeah they were so good, they did an extra song at the end Out of Control from the new album and it was great :D

Oh it must have been that one. For some reason I thought they said new lol but that makes much more sense. It was still awesome either way xD

Damn woman all your ADWD are blinding me!!! LOLOL I haven't read it yet so I'm going to look way, but just had to say how jealous I am about your U2 experience.

Teeny tiny note on ADWD, I decided to use that great cheat sheet that Paco shared this week so that I can read the books together. I'll give it a shot hopefully soon I'll be all caught up.

LOL there is a lot (and I want to do more later XD). U2 was amazing, Im just glad to meet other people who like them because irl I know like one person lol.

Yay! Being caught up is great, but also there is no hurry because the next book probably wont be out for like 5 years...now there is just waiting and waiting and more waiting for me :p lool
