I *love* them - I wish I knew how to knit a pair.

You are a knittress extraordinaire! My legs are pale, too. I always say I'm maintaining the 19th century ideal of beauty. ;)

I just don't go out of my way to tan. I'm in my garden a lot, so my arms and face are tan, just not my legs.

Damn, girl. You're talented. Ever thought about selling them?

How was the movie?

I'm the world's slowest knitter and in order to make minimum wage, I'd have to sell them for something like $100 a pair. Not very cost effective. I like to knit gifts and sometimes I'll do commissions for friends (cost of supplies).

Those are lovely! Where did you get the patterns from? I might give socks a stab... Although, those are too pretty to allow to touch the floor, lol.

Are you on Ravelry? It's easy too look up the patterns there. The first one was from Interweave Knits, Winter 2005. They have a book of some of their best socks and that is where I got the pattern. The second one is from Interweave Knits, Holiday 2007 but the pattern is available to download for a fee.
