Heads up if you've been thinking about buying a large backpack. REI's huge anniversary sale is going on through Sunday, and they have ultralight (3 lbs.) Flash 65 packs for $109.99. I hear you'll be moving up here at some point? Even without buying gear or having paid vacation, we could get some Skiffites together for a weekend camp-out, I bet. I have two extra tent spaces and two foam mats that people can borrow.
