I finally finished a home project. It only took nine months but Nick and I finally have some plants in our front yard. I just planted four azaela bushes along the walkway to our house. They look so pretty. Now on to the next project...

Being home all of the time is starting to make me a little crazy. I have been doing little projects around the house, but I have run out of them. The remaining projects either require two good hands or cost money. I have nowhere to go tomorrow. This is very odd.

Like most other companies in the economy, my employer is also hit hard. Thus, this afternoon, a whole twenty minutes before I usually headed home, I was laid off. Apparently I fell into the category of lacking career goals. Thank you certain unnamed company for getting my graduation weekend off to a kicking start.

This has not been a good month for the family. My sister got first and second degree grease burns on her face this afternoon. An ambulance took her to the emergency room and everything. She was released later in the evening and she is going to be fine. Apparently it takes three weeks to recover from injuries like that.
