I want all the theater snobs of the world to shut the hell up about RENT being a 'ridiculous' movie. i thought the movie was great. i mean, i've seen rent on broadway so i was skeptical at first, but overall, i was pleased with the movie. i thought it was well done. i'd still prefer seeing it onstage, but i didn't think that it was a ridiculous movie.

i was mildly impressed with their handling of it actually. i thought it was going to be much worse and a lot more hollywood.

Dude-I can't believe I haven't talked to you since I've seen the movie! RENT is what brought us together. I cried for like half the time. It was so beautiful. There was so much in the film that was so beautiful and they did a magnificent job translating it on to the screen. RENT is not even supposed to be "perfect" in my mind. It's a live wire. It's raw. It goes deep into the heart and pours out color. It's just overwhelmingly beautiful. And so are you Ms. Wick. Thank you for being part of my 525,600 minutes each year.
La Vie Boheme,
