Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues! (Feel free to post anonymously too)

It's nice to see that the three of you are still in good health and are continuing a journey that will never seem to end. I appreciate your letter, and observe with great fascination the leaf you had written this on. The same can be said of the messenger pigeon, but alas the creature is no more after having landed in front of the local...eatery.
Therefore i am unable to return the pigeon, but i did manage to salvage what was left of the poor thing.

It came as such a surprise to see your reply in my mail! Sure, the initial signs of my laptop screen going haywire and anti virus running amok were causes for concern, but as soon as your message appeared on screen i realised that the infiltration was nothing more than a letter from you. :)
As for the strange things that humans do, its best to do your own information gathering for there would be times when Batou san or Tagusa san wouldn't be so inclined as to answer your queries. I strongly suggest downloading information from all sites you can find with the meta tag 'yaoi' attached to it from the intarwebs. Good luck on your quest!
