House Warming

Finally, I have finished unpacking, and feel vaguely settled in the new flat. The strangest thing is not shifting cities, but having nothing to do. I've gone from working 6 days a week, to working none, and it's left me at a bit of a loose end really. Oh well, enrollment Wednesday, and lectures start on Monday so I shouldn't be too bored soon.

Shush. Bermondsey is Central London. This is my new position statement and I'm sticking to it. Look, see, SE1. That's a head district postcode, like WC1, SW1, or N1. If it had a tube station, it would be in Zone 1.

I have horrible multiple birthday-party/leaving-london-party/nightclub conflicts, but I aim to be there if I possibly can, possibly arriving just as most sane people are leaving, if that's alright.

No, I mean, if Rachel's flat had a tube station, it would be in Zone 1. I am well aware of the injustice of Bermondsey Tube Station being in Zone 2 (and the sudden leap to the left of the zones map that happens as it crosses the Thames - take a look!)
