So, I'm curious, for anyone reading this post your dream job and how close to your field you are in your current position. Now, given my friends gonna state this right away, professional slacker and doing nothing are right out.

My dream jobs are to be a restaurant owner and a published author, and at this particular point in time, I'm a line cook and I'm working on a novel and several short stories.

World traveler, which is why I went into anthropology. Museum curator does fill a niche in my life, though.

Artist. I guess you could say I'm transitioning to dream job, and it's a bit of the PITA.

I wish I had more interest in photography - then I could have done both!

Well, since "doing nothing" is out, probably having enough money to not HAVE to do anything, while still doing computer related side jobs or short contract work for fun and something to do. I really don't find much fulfilling in life if I -have- to be there or people get mad at me.

Or maybe professional golfer. I could do that. Go somewhere warm, play a game for ~6 hours, get paid 30k minimum.
