Friending Policy - Nothing Personal

Apr 08, 2009 12:06

Most of my entries are friends only. If you add me, I will not add you back immediately unless we have friends in common or you belong to one of the communities I'm in.

If you don't fit either criteria, a comment saying "hi" so I know you're human and not another damn bot would be appreciated.

Excuse me, I have to go run a virus scan now.

i am tired of this crap

I do the same thing. If people friend me and don't leave a comment or I don't recognize the name I just ignore them. I don't have time to screw around with really strange people or spammers.

I don't usually mind random friendings, but this is the second suspected spammer account to add my journal this year. LJ lets you read the friends locked entries even if you don't friend them back which is how I caught it.

Really? All someone has to do to read f-locked stuff is friend you?

When someone adds you, you are able to read their protected posts if you go to their journal. They still can't read yours until you friend them back.
