As a transsexual woman, practicing pagan and Witch, I don't regard Z Budapest &al as either a gateway or a blockage to my celebrating the Goddess within me.

It is true, I cannot celebrate a rite that involves having had a womb, because I haven't ever had one. I cannot carry a child, nor can I shed blood with the moon.

But I can celebrate having a woman's heart, and soul, in so many other aspects. I can care, and create, as a woman does. Nothing Z Budapest can say will take away the joy I feel in being me. I won't let that happen. Likewise, she cannot block the Goddess from coming to me. No matter how much of an elder witch she may be, she cannot exercise such power over me.

So let me leave with this thought:

That some women will not stand with me as my sister in the Goddess, still makes me no less her Daughter.
