Glorfindel / Ecthelion - What about a gap filler in the days leading up to the assault? Did they suspect Maeglin's treachery? Did they learn of Idril's hidden way or make preparations of their own, unknowing? Had they resolved things between them? What if Ecthelion was torn between saving Glorfindel or another... (don't mind me...just wishfully hinting at a certain captain of the Gate of Wood... ;))

Beleg/Turin - What about a gap filler for their time as lords of Amon Rûdh? Gathering the remnants of the wars in Beleriand under one banner, arguing with the petty-dwarf Mim who maybe prefers secrecy to opening up his hidden home to all and sundry, navigating the unspoken tension when Beleg returns to Turin after being unceremoniously dismissed?
