Tomorrow Brad and I leave for Hawaii!!  We got back last Wednesday from Ohio and then bought our Hawaii tickets on Thursday (yay for last minute deals!)  I'm super excited for tomorrow and all the snorkling we're going to do.  Our hotel is right on the beach were we can rent snorlking equipment.  We don't know what else we'll do but thats what all

One suggestion: you wear contacts, right? Take plenty of eye drops (whatever you call the kind that you use to moisten your eyes while you're wearing the contacts). If you're snorkeling a lot (read: in lots of salt) and hanging out at the beach (read: in lots of sand, especially if there's a breeze), your contacts can get much drier than they would normally, which can make everything else surprisingly miserable.

So I read this after I got home, fortunately I didn't have any problems with sand or salt. We didn't really hang out at the beach, we just walked over there to go snorkling and also the beach wasn't really sand, it was more of a gravel consistancy. Snorkling is so much fun, although we discovered how much better it is when the whole bottom is coral as opposed to a coral/sand mixture, the pictures aren't as clear when there's sand.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves! Next time make sure you come to Belize... I promise, the snorkeling's better here. :)

Unfortunately the last minute deal to Belize was a few hundred more than Hawaii (it started about the same...until they say that the flight which was originally included in that price is no longer available). Both Brad and I agreed that the snorkeling in Grand Cayman was better than Hawaii so I'm sure Belize would be more like the Grand Cayman snorkeling.

I know you will have a real blast on your anniversary trip! Have a blast and I hopefully you won't have your nose too far gone into Harry Potter, although I heard it is one of the best ones yet...
