Hey sweetie, I'm glad to see things are going well for you. I'm glad to hear that you got that raise you were looking for and I'm sure much deserved. I am so happy for you and Tori. I can't wait till she gets here and I can see pictures of her. I'm sure she will be beautiful because of her parents. I'm glad to hear that your getting your book together. Remember I'm suppose to be the first to read it, you promised! As far as cars are concerned. Matt just bought a Ford Fusion. They are really nice looking, lots of room in the car and trunk, and very enjoyable and comfortable to drive. Might want to look into them or a Honda. I miss talking to you but I know life is being crazyheckicinsane for you right now cause I know it is for me. Just an update, I made B's and a C in my classes and I only have one to retake but that is on my own accord. Email me, call me text me and keep me up to date on everything. Tell Tori I said hello and I hope she is doing well. Tell then.....Adios

So posting here more out of formalities and to make my first appearance in your journal. I'm glad to see you're working on a book.

I have read parts of the Tao Te Ching and found it rediculous. I know that isn't very descriptive. It is extremely sexist with it's gender proscribing characteristics; i.e. I am female therefore I am passive. I found the book to be contradictory, like all religious texts, and clearly supportive, propagandizing really, absolute control by a monarchy. Go figure.

A book I am currently reading that I think you would get a lot out of is, Beyond Freedom and Dignity by B.F. Skinner. He discusses the "technology" of teaching and discusses the very point you have mentioned about the lack of evolution of humanity.

Well, that is my 739 cents. Gotta love capitalism, how would we ever put a price on knowledge, oppinions, or life if not by wages. Hee.
