If this makes you feel better, I had no clue what a SPOT was until someone explained it to me (and it was a long time before I had the guts to ask). It seems rather silly, but for some odd reason people seem to like it? *shrugs*
I don't EVER unfriend unless someone is being a complete tool on their LJ and being mean or cruel, etc. People who friend an enormous amount of people to make themselves feel important (and this happens on facebook too) and then go all high and mighty saying they've made a cut - this is my view on that: "Who gives a fuck? Not me."

I think you're great - I love your writing and the internet can be full of idiots. Don't give it any more of your energy, that's what I say! Keep doing what you're doing as long as it makes you happy. :)
A YunJae author was kind enough to explain to me how everything worked, since I had to add her and didn't know to do it at first. (I thought spot meant *DEMANDING SMUT* considering the circumstances it was used in ^^;)
I never add those people back on facebook and twitter, I prefer my stuff to my friends and family, not a random person able to see everything I posted. The friend-cut business made me wary that I never dared to add anyone, I just bookmarked their pages if I liked their fics ><.
