My car window is fixed and all the glass is out of my car. Of course the glass has deflated my air mattress-flotation device I bought one Pennsic about 4 years ago because it fit in my very small dome tent. Going to need to get a new one of that. Drained. Got to attend lots of cool classes. Helped watched the table during the SCA demo - about 4 or 5 hours. I had to send away the lady that had done it all the hours (2 to 10 pm) the day before and had been watching it from 8 to 2 the next day. I told her to go and enjoy some of the con. Hung out under the Sacred Stone pavilion for a couple hours on Saturday after doing the calligraphy for an AOA on a scroll blank, getting to know folks sort-of. Then went to a paint-the-list-fence day on Sunday and got to know a group of folks much better between sanding and paint (most of which was put on the fence and not on each other's arms ( Read more... )

I have safely arrived in North Carolina. Waiting the UPS store to open to see if I have any mail there and to get the key. After that, time to find a library and apply to lots of jobs.

...Why is my to-do list growing instead of shrinking? My shoes broke yesterday, so had to go shoe shopping today in order to have a good interview shoe.

Leaving Friday morning, no matter what condition the to-do list is in.

Class ended - decided not to go for the accounting add-on to the MBA. Too much cost & would have to go to another 6 classes after I am done before even trying for the CPA testing. MBA degree will be in the mail as soon as they check that all bills are paid.

Will be a free woman soon.

I am now reserved for Pennsic. If I only have a limited amount of time, I will be going for the 29th of July and the 1st of August (the first weekend). If I have more time, well, good for seeing friends - bad for income ( Read more... )

Back again and hopefully renewed for another year. With only 2 events between Pennsics this past year, the SCA was far too sparce but I bet that this year will not be that much different.

Only 30 more weeks of class to go - but these may spread over the next 50 depending.
