job fairs can be a bit of fun. mostly you can learn alot about different jobs that are available, get interviews set up. it is like going through the want adds but a little more efficiently because this way you can ask more questions about the jobs, and they can start setting you up with appointments and such.

good things to bring, pen, notepad for writing down information, a small folder to put business cards and fliers into, and copies-lots of copies, of your resume'. and go dressed as you would to a job interview because sometimes they can do impromptu job interviews right there and you want to impress on first glance. they dont get alot to judge you on and unfortunately we are a shallow society that basis alot of what we think about a person on looks.

Glad to see you are alive and doing well!

It would be so neat if you and Chris could work in the same place. What kind of position are you applying for? I looked into the banking industry briefly, but there didn't seem to be a lot of places to go into other than a teller or loan officer.

I saw Kachina's post that both you and Chris are getting to go to cousin camp. I hope you have fun!

Basically I applied to a loan processing assistant position - you can actually make pretty good money as a senior loan processor, as I understand it. Chris applied for a file clerk position. We have no idea what either one pays! I'll try to remember to post tomorrow after my interview :)
