Chris and I are going to get a puppy! Depending on the weather, we may be able to go get her this weekend :) She will be one of four in a litter of Malamute/German Shepherd puppies currently in a rescue place in Oklahoma. I found out about them on Petfinder.com ( Read more... )

I am so happy that you are getting a puppy! Hopefully, I won't have allergies, but even if I do I am still so happy you are doing this!!

Yeah, we should still be able to. We'll just need to call you when we get back or something (if we're able to go get her Sat, that is), since it'll probably be evening time.

As far as names go... how about Briar? that's the character in a story I'm writing now. I think those puppies look like they could be called Briar.

Those are so cute!! That sounds like a good mix. Have you "reserved" one yet then? Do you have to drive to Oklahoma?

Eek! We just came back from Game Night at Brian's and heard a message from Heather & Brian who were flying to Kansas City tonight - they are in some town in TEXAS and they don't know what they're going to do. I guess they can't land planes in KC right now or something. Have you heard from them at all?

you know you could leave friday i am sure and stay at hilda's so you wouldn't have to drive nearly as far on saturday.

i like daisy, piglet, elmo (yes unfortunately i do like that as a dog name). blondie, zen, tood, kalbi (means my dog in arabic), zero, hercules, i like unique doggy names. i think you should just meet your new puppy and see what you feel like fits that puppy best.

Yeah, I've come up with a big list of names and then we'll just have to take a look at her :)
