Well, as promised here's a long overdue update.

In regards to the post 5 days ago, it was a pretty shitty morning, starting out with two incidents on the freeway that nearly got me nailed. I would totally love to play me some Undermountain (I've been having the itch to play a game, and sending online posts to my group of bored players just isn't cutting it). However, I'm not sure how into that Peggy would be. She seemed much more excited about the idea of Laser Tag. Of course, I don't see why we couldn't do both :)

If we do play, could I beg you here and now for the opportunity to play a Tome of Battle character? :p Likely a Warblade (or a Crusader depending on the group make-up). No fancy builds or anything, just a straight class with options from the ToB and PHB. That would make my day ;p But if you don't want that, that's cool. Just thought I'd ask ahead of time :)

Well, I sure as hell was thinking we could do both...

As for Tome of Battle, you'd be quite welcome to use it (hell, some of the later foes in Undermountain use classes from it). You'd be starting at 1st level (the campaign book is set up to start that way), but sure, feel free to go nuts. Stats would be 32-pt buy (see the DMG for that).

its such a shame that the lazer zone in Sheffield has set their system to the utterly crappy quasar system (the one with bases and shots and lives and a stupid when you get hit you can't shoot or be shot for 3 seconds. after that 3 seconds you can be shot but you can't shoot for another 3 seconds)
And undermountain = win

I kinda wanna play some undermountain again...mostly cus I wanna play a drider for some bizare reason

Oh? They changed it back from that indoor paintless-paintball game? (But what about the large bruises?!)

Didn't know you'd run through Undermountain, too. How far did you manage to get?

Actually, once D&D 4.0 comes around, they're gonna have that new subscription VOIP feature that allows anyone to connect from anywhere and play around a virtual gaming table, which might be kind neat if we ever wanted to get the old heroes of Frisia back into action...

yeah I read about that in John Kovilic's LJ

And yeah Jen took us round the Undermountain the other year.
Think we managed to get to skull port some how.

Not sure if they still do the paintless paintball there either.
