Confessions of a fool.

In a week I've managed to take a simple life and turn it upside down. Everyone that reads this in SC will think oh joy another Patrick rant. Anyone in Florida that reads this will read a bit into it then make their decisions after wards, and anyone else will get something from it perhaps. As is my standard in life I have done absolutely nothing ( Read more... )

From teh English Major: It's called Stream of Consciousness, what you're writing, and it's a perfectly legit form of prose. Trust me, this is much more understandable than Faulkner.

Would suggest that there was on meaning to what you said, which is untrue.

While vauge at times, the feelings are real.

Sucks that stuff is all blah right now, and I'll warn you ahead of time my advice often sucks.

As to relationship drama/falling for people/ruining friendships--I would say give it time and see if things straighten themselves out really. Often times if you are friends and trying to do the falling for each other thing it's really awkward until things figure themselves out. None of my damn business I know.

Honestly, I don't know you overly well outside of solar, but in general I think you're a good guy, and I've noticed over time that good guys always end up as the much whined at best friend rather than the boyfriend. I never understood why, unless everyone is secretly a masochist looking for pain and because you don't offer that people run away. There's a thought! Ha!

ladylilo is right, it's stream of consciousness writing and quite valid, no english majors should beat you ( ... )

I've figured that out, actually. People will give you as much shit as you will accept--in any social arena, from romance to the workplace. I've been experimenting with being much more honest about exactly how much shit *I'll* take, and I must say, the results are marvelous!

...Doesn't involve the kicking of shins, however, which I kind of have nostalgia for. Sigh.
