I went back to the French language group at the Spoon, last night. I think I did a little better with my expressive language, but I still fear I am butchering it. I'm so much better at receptive language. I can listen to conversations or read things and grok it, but when I try to speak, it's as if all of that near-fluency I had about 12 years

The sheep incident does sound like a fabulous story. Even cooler that you brought the right dictionary for telling it!

Plans are totally still on! I'm not sure of which day, yet. (It'll most likely have to be a weekend day, since I work all week. Boo.) But I am totally itching to Cook Things Over Fire!

I'm impressed that you can take part in French discussion. My schoolgirl French has all but deserted me. I always hated French oral exams at school as I was useless!
