Table Francais, Part Deux

I went back to the French language group at the Spoon, last night. I think I did a little better with my expressive language, but I still fear I am butchering it. I'm so much better at receptive language. I can listen to conversations or read things and grok it, but when I try to speak, it's as if all of that near-fluency I had about 12 years ( Read more... )

I'm horribly jealous at your proficiency. How very cool that you can participate in a French discussion group (at any level!)

The sheep incident does sound like a fabulous story. Even cooler that you brought the right dictionary for telling it!

Picnic plans for Spring break still on? Is there a particular day? (Is there a day that it's not going to rain?)

Plans are totally still on! I'm not sure of which day, yet. (It'll most likely have to be a weekend day, since I work all week. Boo.) But I am totally itching to Cook Things Over Fire!

I'm impressed that you can take part in French discussion. My schoolgirl French has all but deserted me. I always hated French oral exams at school as I was useless!
