Backstory, yo!

1988
22nd January - Born Kendra Jean Clayworth to Truman and Marjorie Clayworth. The Clayworths are a well established pure blood family and had been openly practicing the Dark Arts since anyone can remember. Her father works as a top notch official with the Ministry of Magic, thus leading many to believe that he has managed to pull himself away from the mould that the Clayworths had created over the centuries.
Pre-Hogwarts
- Kendra's mother starts sending her to dance lessons at the tender age of 4 and cultivates a love for knitting in her, much to her father's displeasure. He believes that those activities are meant for Muggle loving wizards and witches, but loves Kendra's mother too much to object to them.
- Meets emogen_ackart at one of the MoM events, and the two hit it off splendidly. They remain extremely close in Hogwarts, even though they were sorted into different houses and are one year apart.
1st year
- Meets kiley_barton at the platform when she is sent there by her parents. Kendra's parents recognize the Bartons straightaway, knowing them to be blood traitors, and warned her to stay away from Kiley. However, being Kendra, she naturally warms up to the girl and became friends.
- Randomly chooses a compartment on the train and bumps into akirahara who, being a Muggleborn, is rather clueless with the whole magic thing. She happily agrees to tell him everything she knows about the Magical world , including a few pranks she had learnt over the years.
- Is sorted into Hufflepuff, much to her whole family's dismay and annoyance, since all of them were from Slytherin. She was, however, happy to have been sorted into a house known for loyalty and everything nice.
- Gets bored while waiting to be sorted and starts chatting to gabe_lucas, probably scaring the poor boy a little, but then they were both sorted into Hufflepuff and remains close ever since.
- Also meets rylielogan at the Sorting ceremony, whom she randomly rants about the colours of the professors' robes to, and the two still chat from time to time.
- Gets excited on her first day of classes and collides with andraleigh. They ended up on the floor, in a giggly heap and have been friends ever since. Both girls are into arts and crafts, and this creates a bond bewteen them.
- Attends one of the parties thrown by jory_elecott's grandparents with her parents. She fully expects to find all blood snobs who couldn't give two hoots about her due to her conflicting personality, but meets Jory, who was equally frustrated about his family's mentality. The two meet again in Hogwarts and form a bond.
2nd year
3rd year
- Still manages to get excited over seeing so many new, little Puffs and poked tyra_jaregski during the feast.
4th year
- Is immensely impressed by kuentastic's bubbly nature and is drawn to the girl. The two would frequently exchange gossip and talk about everything under the sun.
- Watches a Gryffindor game held during the raining season and sees p_davenport sneezing after the game. Kendra decides that a nice, fluffy sweater would do him some good and knits one for him.
5th year
- Gets extremely frustrated by her father's constant disappearance and her mother's tantrum throwing that she runs away from home. Wishing to get away from the Wizarding world, she seeks out akirahara for help and stays over for two days. Luckily for them, her parents hadn't bothered to look for her, knowing that she would eventually show up.
6th year
- Dates a 7th year muggleborn Hufflepuff, Darryl Faxon and is discovered by her family. That was probably the last straw for them, as all her uncles and aunts decide to disown her and pretend that she had never existed.
- Is introduced by gabe_lucas to jackie_zhang.
7th year
- Concentrates on NEWT level Transfiguration, Divination, Herbology, Potions and Charms, if only so that she at least has a formal education. She already has her mind set on having a job which has something to do with crafts and meeting people. The idea of a shopkeeper appeals to her very much.
