My reading list...

Speaking of books to be read, we are nearing that magical time of the year where I solicit recommendations from everyone I know and then try to burn through said list within a year. Of course it is stupid to ask for suggestions when I still have books on my 'to-read' list but I am a glutton for punishment and I have found a few treasures this way ( Read more... )

Is goodbooks an internet thing? If so, where is it? Goodbooks.com doesn't quite seem up your alley.

I've recently had Journey to the West recommended to me. It may also be a vanity read, being 1100 pages long with statements being made about it like, "You're not really Chinese unless you've read this" (Or was that for seeing the TV show?). I'm only reading a chapter at a time.

"Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver. Non-fiction too! Although it reads just as easily.
