Thinking about getting a new car, maybe. Not anytime soon, but possibly before the end of the year. Couple stipulations, though ( Read more... )

Aw~ But I love my Civic ;_; It goes fast enough for me XD

I don't have any recommendations but I do have a question: What's AWD? 8D

Well, A V-tec is different. 's excused XD

I mean the low end civics that get all fiberglassed up need not apply. If a civic had AWD...

It's all wheel drive, by the way; great for weather conditions. Particularly snow.

Oh~ See, I know that as 4WD XD

And I've heard people say that the V-tec kick-in is noticeable, but I've not managed to see/feel it yet XD

And, according to my Civic manual, I think there are 4WD Civics. Though my memory's a little fuzzy on that score.

Oh, yeah, I hear there have been a lot of recalls on the new model Civics recently. The most recent being a handbrake-related one. Other recalls, as told to me by the mechanic that gave me a lift to work while I got my car serviced, was driver-side door lock, rear shock absorbers, and top rubber sealant on the windscreen.

Dunno if that's helpful any XD

He also said that the previous shape Civics had very few by comparison, like one or two or something. Which is good news for me, I guess XD

AWD is all white dodges

swear to god.

Also, you seem like the kind of dude that'd drive a hummer or an SUV.
prick.

Hey, it looks like we might be needing a new car, too! My old, reliable, teeny-tiny Tercel may finally be dying.

Or, at least, it needs more repair work than is worth spending on a crappy old car like that.

FYI, if you want a car to last, DO NOT move up on top of a mountain.

I'd call your Tercel a lot of things, and reliable isn't one of them XD

Didn't it leak poison gas and lie about how much fuel it had left? Yeah.

Okay, okay, point taken, but seriously, it has never died on me! The poor dear is still puttering along like a champ, even now. Apparently it needs a full tune-up and yet another catalytic converter. For this there is much hate! I won't get into the fact that the oil tank is basically a sieve.

Sighsighsigh. Joe thinks there is sense in continuing to sink money into this thing, mostly because we couldn't afford to buy a new (used) car if we had to. I think it needs to be taken out back and shot. But whatevs.

man, I spent most of the week watching Married with Children episodes on youtube and I miss out on the post. Sorry for the late comment here.

I do love my wrx, going on the 6th year now without any major issues. The thing does take premium, unless you get an ecu manager of sorts to change the fuel map, but then it runs like garbage. I do believe the non-turbo impreza can run regular, since it doesnt have the higher compression ratio of a force-fed engine. Last couple WRXs I've seen for sale are 'round 10k, and still falling. I do believe I've seen a STi or two running around with a 15k asking, so keep those eyes peeled and carfax ready to check vins.

Other awd alternatives - used Evo 8s, volks, audi, beemer, porsche carrera 4s (lol what price tag? >_> ) Eclipse GSX, 3kGT VR4
