Well, I was called in to a meeting with the Prodco yesterday to "pitch" them my take on one of the books I recommended. The meeting went well enough, I believe I articulated my individual take on the adaptation to screenplay needed along with an assessment of the novel's strengths, tone, and plot "beats ( Read more... )

It would seem that way from reading it, but he's actually a nice guy, I just didn't hit the note he was seeking, or so it feels.

I hope it goes well, but I know he's not given the right vibes for a while now. Maybe it's not a fit.

On the one hand he hasn't been giving the right vibe for a while, then again, he's been pursuing a project to work with me on all that while. I haven't been calling them to follow up, they've been callin g me, so maybe that's just the way he seems all the time, come to think of it.

Hmmm, that actually makes me feel better. It's not indication of whether this project will go anywhere though.
