Glad to see you back, and congrats on finishing fic. All okay now? Sorry we couldn't meet before I left England. Another year, maybe. OTOH, I'll be in Edinburgh (very briefly) in mid July.
Well, all ok would be a tad optimistic, but definitely better than a month ago. I was also sad not to see you. But I should still be in Edinburgh in mid July, and would love to meet, even if only briefly. Also, if you need a place to overnight, my couch is yours :).
As current plans stand, my brother and I will arrive in Edinburgh (18 July); next day we go to the art exhibition at the Queens Gallery; day after that (20 July) I shoogle off to Canterbury for Diacon Alley, by train, while he stays on for a bit. (So I get there the day before the con starts.)
Are you going to be able to get to Diacon Alley? If not, I'd esp like to see you while we're there - get together on the evening of the 20th? Or the 19th, since we're only coming from Glasgow.
Thanks for the offer of a bed! We'll probably be trying for a B&B/something, near Waverley for easy catching of trains.
Actually, I think you saved my life (or at least my, well, temporal sanity) with that comment! For some reason, I had Diacon Alley in my mental calendar as July 2-4, and am glad that this was corrected well in time...
Which means we might be going down by train around the same time?
yay gen! Thanks for the link. I have a 7 year old who wants to read fanfic like her Mummy, decently written gen is gold, in this house (and your Cat!Harry is top of the list as soon as I get more printer ink! She already read Crossroads, and liked it) :)
