Canterbury in Books

Diacon Alley in Canterbury was dotted with a lot of book shopping, as placing Hijja in a town with used book shops usually is. And once again, the magical 'books find me' phenomenon cropped up.

I loved the Oxfam shop. Got quite a haul out of that - luckily, I had come by car. No limits to what you can take in a car.

And did you go the the Chaucer bookshop? A great one, too, and I found an illustrated Miss Read that I very much wanted in my student days, but couldn't afford. Now it's mine!!!
