Venice Fic: Quiet Morning

Since we know basically nothing beyond the keywords "family" and "relationships", along with a vague hint at plot here and there, I had a little plot bunny sneak up on me. My mind likes to figure out puzzles, so I started to try to fill in some of the holes for myself, partially to see if they'd match up in the long run. I tried to stay far away

Okay, so I've been meaning to type this comment for what? two weeks now? My god, you should SEE the length of my To Do list. I'm an idiot with no ability to prioritize. But I digress.

I happen to think, given that we know so little, you really could be on to something here. At least in the friendly, easy dialogue between Owen and Michele. Can totally their dynamic being similar to this. In fact, I rather enjoy this game, and I wish we could've begun earlier-- speculating on the "voices" and feel of the show before it aired, then comparing and contrasting with the actual product.

(I'm not saying we couldn't write something BETTER but... hey, you never know! ;))

Anyway, you have a real feel for dialogue in general. Some people... how do I say this nicely? Just. Do. Not. You'd think they never spoke to anyone casually in their life.
Don't know how much fic you write but if there's more lingering around that you don't feel like posting, I think you should. Because I said so. The end. :)
