I don't think we'll be having afterparties for a while. Last nights one was pretty wild, and it went swimmingly until Environmental Health turned up at 4 am. Oops. I think I might lie low for a while in the neighbourhood, baseball cap and sunglasses stylee.

why Environmental Health and not the police?

I have no idea why it wasn't the cops either. It was the first noise complaint we have had, formal or informal. I grovelled and turned the music off as soon as they asked and they seemed fine.

Never knew Environment Health on call at night either. Hoping they don't report it to the estate agent...
