I clicked a few boxes, not sure what default settings I want for. I wonder if I should just set it all ages and still write whatever I want, or is the new management going to be disapproving of that? :P

Up to you I guess, but the new management is highly intrusive and does monitor people's journals. On a friend's journal they were talking about the SUP takeover and what it might mean and -=suddenly=- a member of the right wing Russian political party (Putin's party) joined the conversation. Talking about how good things were, etc. (The fact that he admitted to his political affiliation was rather refreshing, though interesting too).

But the Russians have a very long history of big brother holding over from their soviet days (which Putin seems to want to return to), so who knows? I just find it humorous that the people who complain the loudest about Bush cracking down on civil liberties are looking the other way now that a company which actively is doing so in another country owns LJ.
