That was pretty funny! I went to see the movie yesterday morning with my parents and Ron. Up until this point I've enjoyed all of the movies. Yeah, they left some things out and there was stuff I didn't agree with, but overall I've thought they've done a decent job cramming increasingly large books into movies and still getting most of the important points in. I was incredibly disappointed with Half-Blood Prince, though. I feel like the movie had ADD and although they cut A LOT the stuff they didn't cut they didn't spend nearly enough time on. Honestly, I feel like the main focus of the movie should have been the Horcruxes in order to prepare us (especially people who haven't read the books) for the book 7 movies. I just feel like it was always jumping around and when they spent time on something they did it BADLY.
My hope is that by splitting book 7 into two movies they're actually able to do it well. Honestly, I think if I hadn't read book 6 I would have had no freaking clue what was going on in the movie.
Haha! That's pretty amusing :) It's possible that I'll like it more once I buy the DVD and watch it a few times(I already own all five movies, you know I'm going to buy the book 7 movies, so even if I didn't like this one nearly as much I'm going to have to buy it or my collection will be incomplete).
