okay guys, heres the 411... the song is about this girl he went the the beach with in september. it was the best day ever. the song is about a girl he dated when he was 13. the song is about a fellow artist. the song is about moving to california, and living the dream, a dmb concert, maybe its about christmas lights hanging in ur basements and walls of lace. the song is about that "one day" kind a love that might happen next time. but next time is so far and few inbetween that its been reduced to a hope. a hope held onto by a picture holding a memory....or prehaps the song is about the distance being a motivating hope that could one day be.
