Well, with tomorrow being the first day of October, I felt like now would be a good time to update everyone on the progress of my Ghostbusters costume I've been working on for Halloween.  In case anyone actually cares.

Well, I don't look like any of the actors from the movies, and none of my coworkers would have any idea who Kenshin is, so I just had the seller make a custom patch with my real last name. Though I did briefly consider getting Winston's patch and just telling everyone that I "saw shit that turned me white!" :P

I'm sure I will get a Kenshin patch eventually to wear with my fursuit at conventions and such.

It really is. Ghostbusters has kind of a personal place in my heart, one of my earliest memories is watching the first movie with my cousin on a worn out VHS tape, and I've been obsessed ever since. And this year just felt like the right time to finally do it right, with the 25th anniversary of the first movie, and the recent releases of the video game and the blu ray.

Hi Kenshin,
Ah - found you. You were the quiet one. ;)

Congratulations - The costume sounds awesome! Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies also. I'm looking forward to pictures.

Ha, yeah, I'm kind of shy and quiet around new people. I'd really like to work on that for my next con, learn to get out more and actually talk to people.

Thanks, it's actually shaping up pretty well so far, and I'm hoping it's going to be pretty neat. I am working on a budget though, so don't expect any of those movie accurate costumes like you'd see at any of the big sci-fi or comic conventions.
