My mom got a chicken bone stuck down her throat and had to be rushed to emergency.

Apparently my parents chose not to tell me this because they didn't want me to worry so I had to have my co-workers ask me "is your mom okay?" with a totally dumb look on my face.

I don't think I actually started worrying until one of the girls kept on asking me

I had no idea what the hell was going on. I was more confused and concerned than anything else and maybe a bit high-strung for a little after calling my dad. Having my mom call me herself when she was coming home calmed me down alot.
