One of my favourite K/C episodes is actually "Tin Soldiers" where Kensi is the fortune teller and is pretty blunt/bitter in her criticism of Callen's refusal to open up. THIS. I remember that scene- Kensi takes his hand and kind of fake reads his fortune and tells him: "You spend most of your time alone. You have friends who love you, but you keep them at arm's length. Your life has many secrets, some that even you don't know. You love kittens, long walks in the rain and Barry Manilow." I loved that scene because she was talking to him and the last part was funny and I loved the look on his face. Anyway, you're right- she's a little unhappy with him keeping everyone away even from people WHO LOVE HIM.
I just really wish that the writers would capitalise on the fact that K/C are

I felt like they let a newbie writer in for this episode. Obviously one who cared nothing for continuity and never watched season one. WHAT was up with the sudden bad driving jokes? Kensi drove with Callen as a passenger many times before this. It was Callen, after all who had to go to driving school (twice). Kensi and Sam were already established as the 'good' drivers. I blame Hunter for this episode. Nothing good came from her being in charge, other than Nell obviously doing more than half of Hetty's job since Hunter was incapable

I really thought it would be Callen and Kensi laughing at Sam's misfortune at being paired with Deeks and then going off and having fun while solving the case. YES! I thought so too which is why I had such high hopes for the episode :(
Maybe next week will be better or maybe I'm not going to bother to watch anymore. Meh.
Call me a masochist but I'll keep watching. I think eventually when Callen gets some of the answers he needs about his family and past, he'll not be so myopic and realize he's part of a really great team. Plus, I just love Nell. I do wonder what Hetty has planned for her.
I think ep. 3x03 really put me off the show. There's no team dynamic outside of the Callen/Sam and D/K relationships and I'm pretty tired of it. (I didn't even watch tonight's ep!)
Well I don't know if Deeks/Kensi will ever be a COUPLE but my best guess is that the writers will turn them into Tony/Ziva from NCIS with the constant banter and flirting and jealousy. I've just given up on waiting for this show to get good again. Honestly, this show was best after Dom died (I did like him though) and Nate went away and it was just Callen, Sam, Kensi, Hetty and Eric. There are too many characters and no chemistry IMO.
It was still good when Dom and Nate were still on there, because there was balance, and Kensi/Callen had their ship moments. I can't stand Deeks, and he is not Tony. It come natural to Tony. So they should drop this ISH with him and Kensi, because they don't fit together. And get back to the dynamics that worked. They should take a page from Criminal Minds.
They should take a page from Criminal Minds. YES. The team chemistry is so amazing and everyone has a special relationship to one another unlike NCIS LA where you have to like Callen/Sam and Deeks/Kensi or too bad. I've given up on the show. Way too disappointing of a spin-off from NCIS.

I agree, the latest eps have done better with team interaction and C/K interaction.
I was surprised that this week's episode had Callen present when Kensi had to strip down to her underwear (and having him react the way he did...). THAT was rather priceless lol. When she stripped down and he just paused like "UH..." was great. The truth is I think I can suffer through the Deeks/Kensi if there is SOME Callen/Kensi. It drives me crazy when D/K take over and it's like no one else exists but them two. What's worse is that there are SO SO SO many D/K shippers (who also think D/K is Tony/Ziva).
He is NO Tony, and never will be. I don't even see the sexual attraction between Kensi and Deeks. They are more like siblings. ITA with the above, I hope they don't become a romantic reality. They can be like House and Cameron were, when they dallied with them, but they didn't become an official couple.
Hi there! I'm new here and I love the Callen/Kensi ship. I agree with many comments here.
I like Deeks but also think the show forced him and Kensi together too quickly. Kensi barely has any interaction with Callen and Sam anymore, the "jealousy" is too obvious, and Deeks seems most interested in what Kensi would look like in a bikini.
I was also surprised at the episode when Kensi stripped down in front of Callen. I wasn't expecting that at all, but I'd love for Callen and Kensi to have a really hot love scene together, so that's a start!
The partner switching in Backstopped was fun but I was also disappointed at how Kensi and Callen acted around each other. They didn't seem like two people who have a much longer history together than K/D.
I wonder if C/K will get any scenes in the upcoming Kensi backstory episodes.
It's been great finding this comm and other people who ship C/K. I'm always up for C/K discussion so please keep posting comments!
Hello & welcome! I'm sorry the comm is so quiet but the ship has pretty much died :( Like you said, the Deeks/Kensi thing is so forced and to be honest, I only watch now if the preview interests me. It's pretty hard to watch when you think of how good it used to be and could have been. Anyway, I hope there'll be SOMETHING to talk about soon, stick around!
Yeah I guess I'm a little late to the fandom, not much hope left for C/K. I do still watch the show and my favorite episodes are when the team works together instead of just the partners separately. I also enjoy reading C/K fanfiction and there are some good C/K stories although most are K/D now. I'll definitely stick around just in case we get a C/K scene!
