Is this a new health problem? I'm sorry to hear this, but I like your attitude toward it. We're rooting for you!

It's not a new problem at all. I've had it for over 10 years. I have picked up a new health problem called SVT. I get short of breath with no apparent cause. I walk 50 feet at a moderate pace and I'm out of breath. I'm seeing a cardiologist. I took a nuclear stress test (I can't do a treadmill test) on Monday. I'm taking a modified barium swallow on 6/30 for my GI Dr. I have a severe case of GIRD or is it GERD? I'm a little old lady in disguise--I have so many conditions.

I love your icon! It's from Frozen? I loved that movie!

I think it's called GERD. My sister has it too.

I hear you on the 'old lady' front. I have developed so many food intolerances in the last few years. I had to give up caffeine entirely, then all dairy, too. I suspect the next thing to go is all wheat products. At least by giving up the caffeine, my blood pressure went back to normal! But I can't take most pain meds because they give me insomnia and I keep a headache most of the time these days. I hope all your tests come back with good results--or at least, something you can work with!

Yes, the icon is from Frozen! I *adored* that movie. :-)

Good luck! You can do it! If you manage to stick with it for at least 30 days, you'll create a habit, & it will become infinitely easier.
