I've read all of it (although it's still ongoing) so you can talk to me about it. Not sure if I remember most of it, I've been reading it for so long!

I do enjoy it because it's so different from most fanfic and because a lot of thought is put into it. He makes very good use of what we know (who the baddies are) verses what may be different (since it is an AU) verses what the characters know or think they know. In a way, the original books become subtext and I find that interesting. Definitely a case of taking the source material and running like hell bent for leather.

Oooh, yes, I've been reading that fic too! Stopped around chapter 72 to let the chapters pile up, but yes, it's definitely a good read.
