I know a few of you are heading for big exams in the next few months. I stumbled across this article and I thought it might be helpful - even if the guy comes across as a bit of an arse at first, a lot of what he says makes sense. Ooh, thanks, that looks like a really useful bit of free software. :)

I'm really more of a read/write or auditory learner than a visual one and mind maps don't work for me; I'd much rather write essays or talk about something in order to understand it. However, many of my pupils are visual learners and it's a learning style that can be neglected by us English teachers. Given how bad I am at drawing legible mind maps, I'm sure that this software will come in handy at some point. :)

Hmm, I almost ranted about the guy's article, but it was quite lengthy so I'll post it on my journal instead.
