What do you think of TED? One of my students recommended it and I was excited at first but I found most of the talks to be a bit...lightweight, to be honest. Maybe I should try it again.

I've only seen one or two talks. It's the kind of thing where if you're looking for a quick overview of something interesting you don't know much about, it's great - but if you're looking for detailed analysis, perhaps not so much.
