That place sounds very skeezy. I didn't even know it existed.

Have you ever been to Taco Tonto's?

Actually it was very nice inside except for those flies. Very festive looking with a nice flat screen TV in the middle. Bright yellows, greens, etc.

Nope, never been to Taco Tonto's before.

Definitely check out Taco Tonto's. It's between Ray's and the Loft downtown. They have the best burritos ever.

Will try out Taco Tonto's later on this month or next.

I guess our experiences were different regarding this restaurant. :(

We had great service as well - waiter was very quick, etc. until the end when my husband found the sticker still stuck on his red pepper bits, no one apologized and they made an excuse saying it was hard to get off sometimes.

I guess we got a double fluke. :\

I went a few weeks ago - only for drinks and chips - and had a wonderful experience.

Chips and salsa were great due to the salsa being soo hot! I was lamenting that fact when we left the place. :( Even if I asked for a second chance, my husband wouldn't agree to it unless it has been for a while.

That place was completely underwhelming. The service was okay, but I didn't like the food that much.

Interesting - I thought the food was similar to El Campesino but lower in price. I've found that my nose gets stuffed up & slight sore throat after eating the leftovers so I might not go back there - most times it happens from some allergens and I know it will happen again. Only if we're in mood for mexican food WITH low prices (beside Chipotle and El Campesino), then we will go back there.
