Inadvisable Solution to Writer's Block

Every so often, the Livejournal website will suggest a topic to help you overcome your writer's block. Here is the latest one:

What is the scariest incident with drugs or alcohol you’ve
witnessed or personally experienced? How did it change you?

Here's some advice:

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive..." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming: "Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?"

For heaven's sake, don't stop now. This is just starting to get interesting.

Unfortunately, I must confess, I've borrowed my drug experience from the Good Doctor. As his drug-induced half-fiction is going to be way more interesting then anything I can come up with.

Sometimes the government encourages it, so I wouldn't count on support there. In the meantime, I guess I'll keep my wild drug experiences to myself, if I had any, and I'm not saying I had. There's some plausible denial for you.
