I've been upstaged. One of my friends changed her status to "Married", much to the surprise of many others.

We have destroyed the value of relationship status on Facebook. Nobody will ever believe anything again!

But I think you can say that you're married/engaged/whatever to a vague entity.

I am sorry for the confusion. I know you've been doing the searching dating thing, and thought perhaps things had turned out better on that front....

Well, I should clarify by saying that I had been doing the searching dating thing, but have since declared a moratorium until I get things figured out.

I hear you vis-a-vis the dating frontier. I've stopped looking. Figure I'll leave it to chance. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
