Big Mountain is a ski resort just slightly to the north of Whitefish. Its manicured ski runs are easily visible from town. There was a slight sense of deja vu, since I had visited Sun Valley in Idaho last year, which is right next to Bald Mountain. The two would pass as twins to me. Those are gorgeous photos. I'm not an outdoorsy type and can't imagine hiking in Montana, so thanks for letting me live vicariously through you.

Hi Kent,

Thanks for "friending" me on Facebook. I finished a full year and a month without missing a day of the Movie a Day, which left me a bit depleted. I've just started a new blog with some shorter travels (http://daniaeliot.blogspot.com/) that I hope will inspire me. Maybe more of the Montana trip will help in that area too.
