Yeah, this vacation is going on forever at this rate. The third day brought me back to the Apgar Visitor Center at Glacier National Park, this time without anybody smashing their car into a tree and getting staked out at the restroom. Avoiding the huckleberry chocolate bar, I went to visit firsthand the most famous Glacier ranger, Doug Follett. ( Read more... )

I don't know how you got those shots with that kind of wind. Filming could have been interesting (and amusing).

I had to shelter the camera to keep from getting accidentally hung, but there wasn't enough stuff to blow around to capture on film. I probably should have released a stack of papers into the wind for artistic purposes, but one man's art is another's littering in a national park.

I must agree with Ms. Eliot. Those are lovely photos in their own right. That you were able to take them while dodging knock-you-down winds is particularly impressive.
