great points; my only concern is in regards to denominationalism. people belong to different churches for a variety of reasons, some of which are unbiblical.

but what of those people who choose to participate in a denomination because they agree with their doctrine. for instance, I do not and will never attend a church of christ, assembly of god, or any matter of charismatic churches simply because of some vital pieces of doctrine taught in those churches. And yet, there are some people who would never attend a church I attend because they believe I worship the bible and not god.

how then do we reconcile these differences in doctrine so as to come together as "one body"?

There has always been disagreement among brethren, but I simply don't see scriptural justification for allowing disagreement to give way to division. So long as someone is in Christ as evidenced by the Spirit's operation inside of them we should not neglect to meet together and worship with them. Division is evidence of the schemes of man and not the leading of the Lord's Holy Spirit. This is just how I see it.
