I recently read _Little Dorrit_ by Charles Dickens, and a good deal of it takes place at the Marshalsea Debtor's prison. it made me decide that debtor's prisons would be a REALLY good idea. basically, we graduate, we're in debt, we all go to prison for a few years instead of having to actually pay it back. so everyone there is post-college kids... we hang out, discuss ideas, whatever. that way, we postpone having to decide what we want to be when we grow up for a few years AND we don't have to worry as much about our careers being good enough to repay our debts. everyone's happy.
we used to read Dave Barry in government class. my teacher always gave me the copy of the article last, because I read faster than everyone and would start giggling before everyone else got to the joke. <3 Dave Barry. I know you play golf, but he's right about everything.
