As for the proposal, it would have been nice if we had seen some actual attention paid to their relationship since “Tuesday.” Because even though I can fanwank in my head all the reasons why Vaughn decided to pop the question now, it would have been nice to have seen this building for a while before last night’s first hour.
ITA. I ranted about this a bit last week, and even last night's amazing proposal didn't change my feelings. I hope next season, since they'll be engaged, will give us more moments into their life together outside APO. One of the things I love most about the second half of S2 is the little Syd/Vaughn moments outside of work.
Your entire commentary is smashing and was great fun to read. :)
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who almost cried during the goodbyes. I almost lost it went Vincent started swimming after Walt. And that Jack/Sawyer scene was, no contest, my favorite scene with the two of them.
I mean, I liked Irina in Season 2, and I was disappointed that she wasn’t around in Season 3, but I had no idea how much I missed Lena Olin, until she walked into that party wearing that dress. Jesus. She rocks.
The exact same thing goes for me. Finally seeing her onscreen made me realize just how much I missed her. Someone on TWoP said she just adds a certain energy to the show, and I agree.
Considering how few S/V scenes there have been lately, seeing Vaughn with a ring seemed to come out of nowhere, on a certain level, even though I was spoilered for it.Yeah, ITA that they should have led up to it. Maybe shown a scene where Vaughn mentions it to Weiss. Maybe shown more than one S/V scene in the past few episodes. But I'm also kinda like, "fuck it" because I too loved the sexy playfulness at the club and the Vack and the

ITA about LOST. I teared up at the end when Vincent was trying to swim out to the raft, and he had to turn around. Aww. I don't think I could leave my dog on the island. And I loved the scene with Sawyer and Jack, it was so good.
Jesus. She rocks. I don’t even know how to express it other than that.Me neither. I mean, of course I knew she was going to be in the episode last night, but when she appeared on screen, I was just overly giddy with excitement. That probably is a testament to how unexciting my life is, but whatever, my mouth dropped open. Plus, my parents were somehow unspoiled for her return, and so it was fun to see their shocked reactions
