Childhood memories lost...and found.

I attended a party earlier tonight that consisted of 13 mormon kids, George and myself. I went because George is good friends with one of the girls going. It was quite interesting. The music was okay (mostly 80's stuff that I listen to anyway) and they were basically acting like normal people except for the occasion gay bashing comment like "Oh, ( Read more... )

Huh, that's really interesting. It happens so much in SLC, though, running into old neighbors and such.. I used to run into people from my Jr. High & High school all the time, and everyone seemed to know about Alex (though not a lot of particulars, just that I was pregnant, etc).

So, umm.. who's George? All these names and people to keep track of.. damn, girl, We need to make a 'Breanne Encyclopedia' just to keep track of it all.

You should call me! I have the weekends off now, I'll be home a lot for the next few weeks until we figure out when we're moving.. (see my journal entry for details and stuff). Call collect if you have no money, I can call you back..

George is my roommates best friend. He and I have become friends over the last couple months. He's really interesting and I guess knowing that he is gay makes more sense of my post.

That's a major flash back. Sometimes I think about looking up the old neighborhood (I tried calling Jessy a few Christmas seasons ago, but Joann said he was at work, and I haven't tried since) I'm too afraid about how they'll react - they probably mostly see us as the evil Higbee family still. But it figures that your old boyfriends would still have you on their minds :)

I've run into more people than I care to mention, and mostly I ignore them hoping that I look different enough that they won't recognize me. Steve Davidson used to work at the Hollywood Video, but he never mentioned anything when I went in there so I hope my theory works.

Why on earth would Rich have spent money looking for Jason, and whatever on? That just seems silly.

Yeah I think its silly too. Ben said that he did the internet searches that cost money. Mom asked me why he didn't just look in the phone book or something.
