hey gorgeous. emotion through music isn't something you can teach yourself or learn from anyone else; it just has to come to you. it will someday. one day you'll be playing chopin or even just jim brickman and boom, it'll just click without any effort at all. you'll be having a terrible day and you'll just sit down, place your fingers on those keys, and everything that has been bottled up inside you from the rollercoaster week will slide through your arms and onto those keys. and someone walking by your practice room will stop right before he gets to the door and just stand there, listening, not daring to breathe because he doesn't want to miss a note. and then you'll finish and not even realize that the emotion has clicked. and he'll smile and keep walking, the notes you just pedaled still ringing in his head.

vulnerability is beautiful. the control is what ruins the soft, feminine aspect of the emotion. how easy are you going to be throwing a football made of leather then with handling a glass sculpture? dont be afraid to experience pain. it lets us know we're alive and we're doing it right.
